Feature requests#
Layer is small and builds what people ask for. If something is missing, slow or confusing, email david@uselayer.sh. Every email is read.
It helps to say:
- What you're building, and what you'd do with the feature.
- The language your code is written in.
- The venues and markets you care about.
- What you do today without it, if anything.
Ideas we're weighing#
These aren't built yet. If you'd use one, email us and say which: the ones people ask for get built first.

| Live order books | Every venue's full order book for a match, and each change to it, over one WebSocket in one format. Today the API gives the best bid and ask with their sizes, and the Python SDK reads full books from each venue. |
| Full books on one call | Both venues' full books on GET /v0/match, with the most you can trade before the gap stops paying after fees. Today you send the books yourself to POST /v0/size. |
| SDKs in other languages | A JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust or Go version of the Python SDK. Say which language. |
Found a bug?#
Email david@uselayer.sh with the request you sent, what came back and what you expected. A wrong match is worth reporting too: send both market ids.
